About
Osteopathy
Osteopathic manual therapy uses observation, palpation and hands-on methods to assess and treat. Manual osteopathy looks at how different parts of the body influence one another with the aim to relieve patterns of strain and tension that may hinder the function of the different structures and systems of the body. Manual osteopathy may be helpful for movement restrictions, acute or chronic pain and rehabilitation after surgery. Osteopathic manual therapy aims to improve functionality of the nerves and blood circulation therefore can be helpful for various issues stemming from different conditions including but not limited to issues with digestion, breathing, headaches etc.
This is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or emergency care — if you have a new injury, sudden neurological symptoms, or other urgent concerns, contact a physician or appropriate emergency services.
Warm & professional
A calm clinic setting with time to talk through what you’re noticing and what matters for your visit.
Assessment-led
Each appointment starts with listening and looking at movement so treatment can match what your body needs that day.
Your visit
What to expect
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in — lounging pants, jogging pants, or shorts with a t-shirt work well. That helps with assessment and makes it easier to look at how joints and tissues move without restrictive clothing getting in the way.
Appointments may go longer than 1 hour, please communicate any time restraint at the beginning of the treatment session.
During the appointment
You’ll discuss your history and goals, then hands-on assessment and treatment. Ask questions anytime — you’re part of the process.
